Let’s Talk Turkey – Three Wine Mushroom Sauce

Are you a Mushroom Lover? Try the Three Wine Mushroom sauce this year for your holiday sauces! The Three Wine Mushroom Sauce goes excellent with a baked, smoked, or grilled turkey. This recipe includes some of our favorite wines; Messina Hof Tawny Port, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Private Reserve Port. Pair this dish with wine such as Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, Cabernet Franc, Shiraz, Merlot, or Reflections.

Saute’:
-¼ c. Olive oil
-6 c. Sliced mushrooms

Deglaze with:
-1/3 c Messina Hof Tawny Port
-1/3 c Messina Hof Cabernet Sauvignon
-1/3 c Messina Hof Private Reserve Port

Add :
-½ c. Veal or beef stock
-½ c. Sauce Espagnole
